Over two years, I hand-drew sea creatures using the stippling technique. Every illustration took between 5 and 10 hours to create, and together they celebrate the incredible beauty and diversity of life beneath the waves. From tiny creatures to majestic whales, each species plays an important role in the health of our oceans, and each deserves our protection.

Art Technique
Drawing combined with vector graphics and digital collage. Originally created from hand-drawn stippling illustrations and alcohol ink paintings, then scanned and carefully reworked digitally.

About Janina Rossiter
My artwork is inspired by the beauty, diversity, and fragility of our oceans. Each piece begins as an original hand-drawn illustration, often created using the stippling technique and combined with fluid, water-inspired painting methods to capture the movement, colour, and energy of the underwater world. Every design is an original artwork, created with the hope of inspiring a deeper appreciation for our oceans and the need to protect them.
